Brian Kurtz, PWM Executive Market Director

Brian is an Executive Market Director in Baird’s Private Wealth Management business. In his role, he focuses on supporting the growth of our financial advisor teams across more than 35 Baird offices in the Great Lakes, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the country. Brian is also involved in supporting the evolution of Baird’s Financial Advisor Recruiting & Retention strategy.  

Brian started in the financial services industry at the age of 19 with Merrill Lynch. After college, he trained at Dean Witter and then spent 5 years at McDonald Investments. In 2001, he opened the Baird Cleveland Branch as a Financial Advisor and Branch Manager.

Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from John Carroll University and he is FINRA Series 7,9, 10. 31, 63, 66 licensed.

Brian lives in Medina, Ohio with his wife and three sons. He enjoys exercising, golfing and spending time with his family. He is also involved in several charitable organizations, including St. Martin de Porres High School, Achievement Centers for Children – Camp Cheerful and Special Spaces.
