Brian Kurtz, Executive Market Director, and Mickey Fritz, Branch Manager, recently chatted with the Cincinnati Business Courier about growth in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati region, the value of Baird’s vast branch network, and how being employee-owned helps the firm grow through tough times.

Fritz shared that one of the keys to the firm’s success is the emphasis put on multigenerational client relationships.

The branch added 28 new clients this last year and manages more than $6 billion in client assets combined. That’s part of the $255 billion Baird manages across its entire private wealth management business.

“We invest in our people and what drives our success is the quality and integrity of the people we have,” Fritz said. “When Baird provides the resources they have, it’s a formula that’s tough to beat. I’m not saying we have some special sauce in Northern Kentucky. What we have is a great firm with great people.”
